Walking Stories
Every borough or ward has stories. Their streets, the residents, are constantly creating them.
From the past to the present, Bilborough has thousands of these narratives and over the next year Lit Theatre Company is inviting you to share your story.
Was it your first day at Players Primary, or as its more recent name, Jubilee LEAD Academy?
Do you remember the day the colliery closed on Glaisdale Drive or a time when a neighbourly disagreement rolled out into the street?
Have you ever had to say a hard goodbye or joined residents in celebrations that brought everyone together? Every corner turned reveals a story about the people and the places we live.
Walking Stories will step into Bilborough’s past and present the areas rich history through art and theatre with your help.
